This is a great place for the family, it is a large property, with stunning views, quite and peaceful but near to towns. There is a good selection of DVDs Loads of wild birds including red kite and clear skies for star gazing. Enough seats in the lounge for a large family of six, big beds and more than 1 bathroom. There is a down side to the position of the house, its on a hillside on a curved dirt road and my people carrier bottomed out a couple of times but once I got a hang of the bend and it wasn't loaded it got better.

We enjoyed our stay at Glenhoul Brae and the fantastic views from the property. Negative points: Lounge sofas were uncomfortable. The patio area was spoiled by a collection of dead plants in broken pots. Parts of the garden were overgrown, a part time gardener is needed. The windows needed cleaning. Overall we had a good holiday in a great area and would return.
