Now don't get me wrong this is a very nice and well equipped house, in a great location for exploring Fife and the surrounding areas, however during our week there were a number of issues that we encountered with the property, namely : 1. On arrival the cleanliness of the property wasn't up to scratch. It was nothing major but wasn't what you'd expect for the money paid. The microwave, cooker and fridge hadn't been properly cleaned from the previous occupant. There was sand and crumbs all over the lounge suite and carpet. The main shower had mould around the tray. 2. The central heating thermostat was broken and always thought it was 12C so was always on regardless of the temperature selected. This meant that the upstairs was like a sauna at all times and was really unbearable, a bit like Florida in the summer with no air conditioning 3. A number of the window blinds could not be lowered as they'd been tied in the up position with knots. Why do this ? 4. The shower didn't drain properly and hence you had to be careful to not run the shower for too long. 5. There were only 2 cups for hot drinks despite the property being able to sleep 6 6. There was no washing up liquid, dish clothes, dishwasher tablets supplied so we had to buy our own. Also only 1/2 a loo roll per toilet. Why you'd do this I've no idea. The owner needs to review their cleaning arrangements, as for our break they'd done a very poor job, and please fix the heating and provide the essentials
