We had a great time staying at the Byre. The cottage was lovely and well presented. For what we wanted it ticked all the boxes. However you should be aware that this very much is in the middle of no where, very rural and next to several working farms! This does mean it was a little tricky to find on our first day. You are likely to be woken up early by farm noise and to get anywhere you will likely have to drive (along narrow roads). The nearest "amenity" was a pub about 1.5 miles away. If any of that is a problem, I would go else where. However if you want something out of the way and quiet (in the evening!) this place is perfect. The hostess was also lovely - she even made sure we could have a cup of tea and biscuit on our arrival!
