The cottage is in a great location right on the West Highland Way as it enters Tyndrum. It’s a good size and has a good bathroom and kitchen. It was very clean and seems freshly decorated. The family who own the cottage were were welcoming and helpful when required. However, it is let down by an outdated version of self catering. No towels are provided. This was not mentioned on the cottage page or on the confirmation, so we did not know we needed to take our own. When we asked the owners for some we were told they were not provided, but they would give us two. Only one bed was made up. We had to ask for bedding for the second bedroom. This was because we had booked for 2 people, not 4. The beds are not comfortable, the mattresses seem old. There is no DVD player, but the website says there is. There is no hairdryer. The cottage appears to suffer from a bit of dampness.
