Description

With beautiful views towards the mountains, Garden Cottage is an ideal base to explore the countryside of Ireland.

Situated in the attractive riverside village of Clogheen, Garden Cottage, as its name suggests, is a semi-detached cottage surrounded by a very large garden on three side and has lovely mountain views. As well as being within a 5-minute stroll to traditional pubs, restaurants and shops, the area offers some of the best river fishing in the country. There are fabulous scenic mountain walks and excellent golf and horse riding facilities. Just 3 miles away lies The Vee which is a spectacular driving route through the Knockmealdown Mountains, separating Tipperary and Waterford. The town of Cashel hosts the Bru Boru Traditional Irish Festival (June-August), with its shows of Irish music, traditional dance, songs and theatre. This cottage is a great base location. If you have a good head for heights you should visit The Vee, the views are stunning. Templemore town park is also a great place to go for families as it has a lake with ducks & swans, it also features a Fairy trail and an 18 hole pitch & put course
