Nice cottage but is expensive for what you get. The owner is v helpful but we did have a couple of issues in that we had no bedroom curtain, no covers for the spare beds downstairs, a few lamp bulbs were out, the kitchen was missing a couple of essentials and the people before had managed to dislodge the wood burner flue pipe. These were all issues we had to raise. They were sorted but it was a faff especially with no stove until Wednesday. It absolutely needs a new sofa. One end is collapsed on the longer one. Previous visitors had also commented on that in the visitors book. Mattresses and pillows would benefit from protectors on too though we all had brilliant sleep as the beds were super comfy. Otherwise, it’s a lovely house. The bedrooms upstairs are fab and both ensuite. It’s in a lovely setting but do be prepared to go down a v bumpy track.
