This spacious, detached single-storey holiday property has a large garden overlooking open fields. It lies just a short walk from the heart of Bamburgh - with its imposing castle overlooking miles of sandy beaches - and makes a wonderful base from which to explore the Heritage coastline. The village boasts one of the most picturesque golf courses in Northumberland with views of Lindisfarne, the Farne Islands and the Cheviots. Nearby Seahouses, with its selection of shops and working harbour, offers boat trips (in season) to the Farne Islands - a wildlife sanctuary owned by the NT. The medieval market town of Alnwick is a short drive inland with its castle (featured in Harry Potter films), famous water gardens and one of the largest tree houses in the world. A little further away is the Northumberland National Park with many walks and attractive villages. Shops 0.25 miles. Property interior unsuitable for wheelchairs.
