We had a fabulous stay at Freefolk, the house is beautiful and the location perfect.

We had a wonderful time staying in Freefolk. Polzeath is a beautiful place. The house is well equipped, but needed more mirrors in the bedrooms. The bed in the master suite creeks terribly so needs to be tightened. But these minor issues in no way spoilt such a lovely holiday/house or location.

Our second stay at Freefolk and two years on it was as well maintained and looked after as our first stay. Lovely walks, beautiful beaches for the kids to play on, body boarding, surfing...the children all want to live there!!

The cottage is immaculate and very spacious, the twin bedroom upstairs is very large and my daughter was very pleased with it (no picture on website). It is a five minute walk to the coastal path and if you turn right it takes you to Polzeath Beach about 10 minutes and if you turn left you can walk to Daymer bay which is a lovely sheltered beach, with a toilet, shop and cafe, you could continue to walk to Rock if you wanted. The walk is relatively easy. There are sea views from the Master Bedroom and it has a good size garden. The showers are good and the cottage is warm and quiet. We ate twice in Cracking Crab (brilliant if you like sea food) and also in the one in Polzeath, both were good. If I had to pick at the house, a Mirror above the plugs in the Master Bedroom would be good but luckily took an extension lead and bed in Master was slightly too soft but at least not hard! Would recommend and stay again. My daughter is 15 and my Son came with his girlfriend for 3 nights and stayed downstairs.
