Glen cottage had huge charm, stunning views and the owners couldn't have been more lovely and accommodating!! It's not up to date but we weren't expecting it to be and it did have everything you need for a restful stay. The location is remote enough that you feel you're really part of the countryside but is still only 10 minutes from not just Ross on Wye but loads of other walks and activities. Thanks for all the fresh eggs too!

Fantastic 3 day stay - cottage located in farmland with beautiful views. The hosts were brilliant and even left fresh laid eggs from their own hens, cup cakes and fresh cut flowers.

Lovely place with our 2 noisy boisterous dogs, gardens enclosed and great for them to run around. Hosts very welcoming and friendly, milk, fresh eggs and flowers a very nice welcome touch. A great week, was sorry to be going home!😣 Thank you x

Nice place (loved the beams) with with friendly owners but looking a bit dated in places. Some décor looking tired, shower needs replacing and kitchen area looking dated although has lots of equipment. Maybe addition of overbath shower would help when it is being sold as suited for 6 people so felt it was a bit overpriced

Glen Cottage is perfectly located for exploring the stunning Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the sheep-farming hosts very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. We had problems with the wi-fi the first couple of days but it functioned perfectly after that. We'd recommend this lovely cottage!

Signage at the roadside would be very helpful when first locating the cottage

What a lovely welcome - owners where brilliant and very helpful-even letting in my Tesco delivery as we were running late .They were in the middle of lambing season and still made time for us to see the lambs. Fantastic rural holiday cottage but still only a short drive to a main road. Cottage is comfortable and clean with everything you would need for a week away.
