The North Yorkshire Moors steam train travels from Whitby to Pickering, passing through ’Heartbeat’s’ village of Goathland. Shops and pub 1 mile.

This was an expensive cottage for a week but we enjoyed being there and the local area was great. The cafes and pubs were friendly and the weather amazing for the time of year.

Fantastic property in a lovely setting. North Range has everything you could ever need with the best equipped kitchen Ive ever seen in a holiday property. Beautiful views from the patio across the Dale. Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes etc are all fairly close and there is good mountain biking at Dalby Forest near Pickering. Hosts Peter and Kate were lovely making our stay extra special. We will be back at some point so i guess that says it all.

We had the best weekend celebrating our dads 60th birthday. The cottage was outstanding. It was beautiful and cosy and we all commented on how we want it to be our house. The farm was lovely and the surroundings perfect. Couldn't ask for better hosts. The perfect amount of friendliness and leaving us to get on with our holiday. Just wish we were there longer. Even had two beautiful barn owls gracing us with their company in the field behind the cottage. Can't wait to return and highly recommend to all.
