We had a lovely break at Forda Farm and was amazing value for money. The house was really well equipped; there were even night lights for the children if needed. Every detail was thought of. A perfect stay, we really felt like it was a home from home and were made to feel very welcome especially with the homemade scones, wine and chocolate that had been left for our arrival! The garden was a fantastic size and the children loved waking every morning to see the cows from their bedroom window. We would definately return!

Excellent garden with lots of games for the children to play. Dog had wonderful time playing ball. Sally really looked after us with lovely cakes.

Host were very nice but the path to the farmhouse is very poorly maintained and not the easiest to drive down even if you pull to the side and go at 5mph. The property is spacious however carpets are threadbare and the shower has only two settings, extremely hot or freezing cold.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We were sad to hear you were disappointed with your 2 night break here at the farm whilst you attended a local event. As a working farm we acknowledge a long entrance lane but as many of our happy return visitors have found this gives a change to be away from the hustle and bustle relaxing in our rural, spacious cottage. At the time of your short notice booking we had not completed the winter maintenance following the alterations to the large woodburning fire and the new carpet wasn't laid until early July. We are proud that have won customer choice awards for the previous three years but understand that our cosy farm accommodation did not suit you.
