A quaint and cosy base for a short break. Excellent bus and train service to Bath from the village.

Quirky, cosy cottage, that definitely grows on you & feels very homely. Lovely wood burner. Nice big bright main bedroom. Owner clearly has an eye for art. Kitchen slightly chilly & damp in winter- could do with some heating to be more inviting, but well stocked. No dedicated parking space, which is not made totally clear in the blurb, the car space shown in the photo belongs to next door - we has to park higher up in the village. Shower worked well, although was running out of hot water after just the 2 of us — if 4 needing it, would have to wait for water to heat up again. Really beautiful location with fabulous walks. So handy being near the train station- only used our car once in the whole week. No contact details given for the property prior to arrival was disappointing, as we had problems with our arrival & would have been useful. However Would definitely recommend.

10 minutes for hot shower...and i'm not exagerating. Water is freezing after 10 min Kitchen plates/cups/glasses/pans all dirty Be careful as the door frames are really low you will hit your head 😅 Full of spiderwebs everywhere, the cleaning is bad The cottage is ok but you can find better in the same area
