Our fourth visit to Folley Barn. Amazing accommodation, location and hosts, Darrell and Liz. Thanks once again for making us so welcome.

Daryll & Liz were the nicest and most welcoming owners we've ever met, having holidayed in over 30 cottages over the years. Folley Barn is a lovely property - the interior is contemporary and very comfortable. The garden was large yet secure for our dogs to roam with freedom, with the added bonus of having the use of the owners 11 acres of fields too. The property is located on a relatively busy A-road, meaning it can be noisy from time to time (although it's quiet at night allowing you to get an uninterrupted nights sleep). Nonetheless, we had fun and enjoyed our stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay which was made particularly special by the hosts, Liz and Darrel. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The welcome basket was delightful. Folley Barn is very comfortable and well equipped with amazing land for walking dogs. There was a bit of noise from the road but it did not detract from our enjoyment of the beautiful barn.

Liz & Darrell are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. Our visit was an early Christmas celebration with family at the beginning of December 2017 and we asked if a Christmas tree could be put up - it was along with other decorations too and just gave our whole stay that lovely Christmas feel. A lovely welcome basket of goodies and the scones etc were most welcome with a cup of tea after a 5 hour trip. The standard of Folley Barn is excellent - very neat and clean. Our little Jack Russell settled in immediately either by lying in front of the roaring wood stove or galloping across Liz and Darrell's fields - so she highly recommends Folley Barn! It was our second visit here and will not be our last. We were very sad to leave a night early but due to weather conditions back home a difficult decision was made to leave such a lovely holiday home, but the right one as it was starting to snow just as we arrived back home in the early hours of the morning, then we were snowed in for the next couple of days!! We highly recommend this lovely barn, not just for how lovely and comfortable it is but for how Liz & Darrell make you feel so welcome. A great time was had by all of us - thank you.

We all (humans and dog) loved our week in Folley Barn. Liz and Darryll have created a fabulous property which is light, spacious and finished to a very high standard. The welcome basket was the best we've ever had, especially the home made scones and clotted cream! Liz and Darryll were nearby if needed but not intrusive and Daisy, our Saluki, was delighted to get to meet their dogs; Rosie and Kai. Having access to their 10 acres of land gave us a great space to walk Daisy and we were comfortable that it was enclosed enough to let her run off of the lead. Holsworthy Woods were also only half a mile up the road offering a more woodland alternative. Holsworthy is very close by and has good options for food shopping and eating out and we found the area to be a good base to explore the North Devon and Cornish coast. There are many dog friendly beaches to choose from but our favourite was Sandy Mouth, near Bude.
