Here you will find a shopping area, excellent bars and restaurants, the racecourse, theatre and of course the historic cathedral and Mappa Mundi. Couples and small families can easily enjoy the beauty of Herefordshire and The Wye Valley from this base with the picturesque black and white village trails, and nearby neighbours Shropshire and Brecon Beacons only a short drive. There are a number of National Trust properties nearby and canoeing on the River Wye, adventure biking and cycle paths, a small breeds farm park which includes an owl centre, Oaker Wood Leisure activity site and Hampton Court historic house and gardens. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

    An alternative to the traditional b & b which offers the freedom to dine out or in - a home from home. I couldn’t get my car in the garage but the neighbors were delightful and there are alternatives around if you have a larger vehicle. Would I stay again - in Hereford on work and mid way through my stay I booked again for next week, so yes! Owner a delight to deal with

    The apartment is well appointed, spacious, and conveniently situated for walking into the city. There is very little to find fault with; but I would like to offer two recommendations. The fan in the en suite does not shut off for a long time and is therefore disturbing at night. Perhaps the timer could be adjusted. When entering the property there is an unpleasant smell that is best described as cat’s pee; it could well be a cat has gained entry via the cat flat and has sprayed. It would be worth having the carpet inside the front door thoroughly cleaned.

    Lovely apartment very well equipped and clean. Location spot on. Small drawback the garage was small and no space for visitors to park,

    God, clean and well-equipped flat. Gas boiler needs attention as its pump was very noisy.
