Description

Situated just a stone’s throw away from the beach, this apartment is the perfect base for a quiet and relaxing break away.

Enjoying a balcony with glorious sea views, this delightful apartment is nestled in the middle of Saint Leonards-on-Sea. This was once an old fishing village and then catapulted to the centre of the tourist boom in the 19th century, when James Burton decided to create a smaller Brighton. This is an original seaside Regency new town, where there is a mile long promenade ideal for strolling or cycling along. Enjoy the vintage feel of the place with interesting antique shops, galleries, laid back cafes and with a Kino cinema 300 yards away. Enjoy a walk into Hastings old town, where guests can see the iconic net huts, medieval cottages and enjoy fish and chips. You can hire bikes or take a bus to Battle Abbey and soak up the history. The station is also close by and will enable you to not only visit our splendid capital city, but nip across to France or Belgium via Ashford International. Bexhill, Camber Sands and Rye are very good day trips. Beach 500 yards. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

All on the ground floor.
Living room:
With gas coal-effect fire, 43" TV, DVD player, CD player and French doors leading to balcony.

Kitchen:

Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and Freeview TV.
Bedroom 2: With zip and link twin beds (can be super kingsize on request) and Freeview TV.

I really enjoyed my time at Flat 2 Clarence House, it was much more spacious than it looked on the photos so I was pleasantly surprised. The dining room was very cosy and both the bedrooms were decent size and the beds were super comfortable. Everything was very local to us, grocery shops, restaurants etc. I would definitely recommend this property.

This apartment is lovely, so many wonderful pictures and just so comfortable, its dog friendly and they really mean that. The owner Andrew was very welcoming and so was Angie the lady we met on arrival. The view over the beach is lovely from the balcony, I have to admit the view to the right was a little bit of a shock to start with, a listed building in some need of some loving care, but on Goggling its history became quite intriguing. Other people have mentioned parking issues, which possibly could be problematic. We were there for a relaxing holiday and didn't move the car all week. We walked to Hastings most days and Bexhill on sea once. We had such a relaxing holiday.

Good location for accessing local amenities and the wider area. During peak times if you go out in the car it can be a little challenging trying to find a parking space but not to affect the stay. Beds are very comfortable and managed to have a good nights sleep. The flat would benefit from having access to a hoover to use during the stay as the flat allows pets so can be a little hairy if they moult! There is a lovely green space nearby which allows dogs off their lead at certain hours.
