Having been completely renovated throughout, this beautifully presented terraced home is conveniently located in a quiet cul-de-sac, in the centre of the New Forest village of Sway. It is less than a 5-minute walk from pubs and eateries, a convenience store, hairdressers, medical centre, post office, butchers and train station. Ideal for those wishing to enjoy a car free holiday, there are buses available nearby.Inside, Fernlea has been updated to a good standard with relaxation and comfort in mind. All of the furnishings are carefully co-ordinated using soft greys and splashes of colour, making this a very tasteful and well-presented home for families or couples.Sway is located within the New Forest, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with an array of walking/cycling routes and expanse of heather moorland. Free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys can be seen wandering openly around the roads, which is perhaps what the New Forest is best known for. There are also many golf clubs, the nearest being Brokenhurst less than 2 miles away.There is so much to do and discover in the area, including many picturesque villages with tea rooms and inns serving fine ales. Lymington is a popular sailing town with cobbled streets lined with boutiques, tea rooms, ice cream parlours, and is popular for sailing. There is also an open air sea pool, and ferry trips to the Isle of Wight run regularly from the ferry port. Days out include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Beaulieu Abbey, the riverside village of Buckler’s Hard, Exbury Gardens, Highcliffe Castle and Christchurch Priory. Beaches at Milford, Keyhaven, or slightly further, the sandy beaches at Bournemouth or Sandbanks offer water sports and seaside entertainment. Other popular places to visit for couples or families, a little further afield, are Monkey World, The Tank Museum near Wool, Paultons Park, Peppa Pig World, and Southampton with its maritime history. Beach 9 miles. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
