comfortable dog friendly cottage surrounded by forest and beautiful walks. If you want everything on your doorstep then this may not be the cottage for you but if you're a dog owner who wants a comfy cottage set in lovely scenery with your friendly hosts on hand when needed, then you can't go wrong. It's warm, homely and well kitted out.

The best cottage we have stayed in for a long time. Quiet, warm, homely, and in a beautiful, remote but easily accessible location. Very good facilities, including strong wifi. There is mobile reception in the drive just outside the cottage, but use of a landline if necessary. It is near the A702, which makes for quick journeys to Edinburgh, the Pentland hills and Peebles, and all places of interest. There are cafes and shops nearby, and just 8 miles to supermarkets Verh highly recommended

A lovely cottage definitely off the beaten track. Both good facilities in the cottage and very warm and comfortable. The scenery in this area is stunning. Would definitely recommend it to others.

What a fabulous location, in the heart of the working sheep farm. Add to this the Local wildlife and fabulous walks and the peace and quiet, this is without doubt a great holiday location. Hosts Mary and James were so welcoming and accommodating. If some constructive criticism could be offered, it would be that perhaps some updating of the facilities might be worth considering.
