A fantastic view to the sea, very quiet, a perfect shut off from the world. Over priced though, kitchen is ‘tired’, a few niggles like an extractor fan above the cooker which isn’t connected, numerous signs pointing out issues rather than fixing them which for what people are paying really shouldn’t be the case. Cleaning is ok, superficial, stains on carpets throughout, mould on bath etc. The balcony surrounding the decking outside is wobbly and possibly needs fixed or replaced for safety? Ordinarily we wouldn’t list issues on here, however there was no visitors book in the property to make notes.

We arrived to find a very generous welcome box-thank you. The bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. Livingroom was a generous size and we made use of the stove as the evenings were cool. The veranda was spacious and enclosed so our grandson of 18 months was quite safe to toddle around there. Best of all was the wonderful view over the water to the hills beyond. The kitchen/dining area was also large with all facilities we required. Though there were no stores nearby there were villages fairly near but a car was a necessity to reach them. There were lots of interesting places to visit and lovely places serving delicious meals. We all agreed that we had a wonderful holiday.

We had a wonderful week. The setting is outstanding. The cottage is let down by the number of niggles. Notices everywhere inside showed that the owners were aware of the issues and it was irritating that they were highlighted instead of being fixed.
