Offering an enclosed entrance porch, a large living/dining room with a wood burner, and a garden room/study, there are lots of places to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. There is also a large front garden with spacious driveway in which guests of the attached annexe use to gain access to the rear of the garage. Less than 10 miles away lies the popular seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea. Here you will find a much photographed quay, a narrow gauge railway which takes you to a wide sandy beach and lots of great places to eat, shop and drink. Coastline lovers will be spoilt for choice as they can head east or west to find a string of pretty coastal villages and towns offering marshes, quays, shingle and sandy beaches and an array of attractions for all the family. To the east you’ll find Cromer with its famous pier and to the west, Hunstanton which offers all the fun of the fair. Make time to visit the Thursford Collection and one of the many National Trust properties and stately homes that can be found in the area. Dog owners will be pleased to find Shereford Common close by, perfect for short walks and for those longer walks there are lots of great coastal and rural pathways to be followed. When you are ready for a relaxing evening and a good night sleep you can head back to Fair Acre and dream of adventures yet to come. Beach 9 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
