Perfect place for a get together, so close to the beach, Pier and shops. Plenty of room, quite a few stairs! Enjoyed sitting round the kitchen table which was our hub. Homely feel, has all you need, would go again!

Sadly our overall experience was poor. With the building itself very dirty and in need of serious renovation. Shower trays were so dirty that they were unusable. With others the electric shower did not produce water hot enough. The overall building is suffering with severe damp and has black mould patches, these were so bad we contacted the owners during our stay to come and make them safe. Due to us having severe asthma suffers we had to seal Off parts of the house and could not use them for the duration of our stay. The overall condition of the property was very poor, mattresses dirty and very old. The walls were damp and paint and wallpaper was peeling in almost every room. We had no other choice but to stay here, if we did we would of taken it. This was a very special occasion and our family are so seldom all together with us living in Canada and Spain and other parts of the U.K. we had no option but to grin and bear it. This probably would be the last time for us to be together for a very long time. The owner did offer us a discount of 10% off our next visit. This of course would never happen again. And I thought was very poor. I have taken pictures of the building and it’s condition and I did make a complaint directly to the owner and showed him the condition of the building in the hope they would offer us some compensation. I would hope that cottages would review all of their properties out for hire, as this has a great location but the accommodation is well below a 2 star. The whole building needs serious renovation. Thank you. Craig

Elwin House is a delightful place to spend time with family and friends. Our experience was excellent from booking on. It is well situated in Cromer for the beach and town and the house itself was superb with everything we needed. Thoroughly recommended

The location was the best. Cromer town, the beach, restaurants etc are all walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking and eating all together at the cottage. There were enough rooms and bathrooms so it was very easy to accommodate all 18 of us and a pet dog.

The house is very spacious, our party was 12 adults and 8 children ranging in age from 3 weeks to 11 yrs old, there was ample room for us all without being on top of each other. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils, the bedrooms are tastefully decorated, as are the reception rooms. On the whole, it is an excellent let for a large party, and Cromer is a great destination.

Excellent house with plenty of space and equipment. Lovely big kitchen with plenty of seating. Well placed for beach, town centre etc. Very helpful to have 4 parking spaces at the property. Very enjoyable holiday all round especially as the weather was excellent.

Very easy to relax in this big old house. Well suited to large family gatherings. Well equipped with plenty of hot water and clean bedding. An easy stroll to the beach and pier. Good crabbing. Great show at the pier theatre.
