Within 10 minutes’ walk of Sidmouth town centre and 15 minutes’ from the beach, you have everything for your perfect family break on your doorstep.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, Elim Villas is perfect for a family, or group of friends to enjoy a holiday together. It is ideally situated for walkers, bird watchers and cyclists. This terraced house has been decorated and furnished to a good standard, and is only a 10-minute walk into the town centre. The sea front is nearby and the Byes Riverside Park, which runs through the centre of Sidmouth, is a short walk away. ’A town caught still in a timeless charm’ was the Sidmouth that captivated the Poet Laureate, John Betjeman, and it will captivate you too.
Beautiful gardens and leisurely walks, Regency history and fine hotels, clean beaches and friendly shops, it’s all here in this lovely seaside town that nestles in East Devon, beneath majestic red cliffs and the green hills of the glorious Sid Valley. There are so many things to see and do around Sidmouth, including Jacob’s Ladder at the sandy, western end of Sidmouth’s town beach, which is mostly pebble. Excellent for young children, there is a large expanse of sand and plenty of rock pools at low tide. Take a trip to the Donkey Sanctuary, Bicton Park, Pecorama small model railway, Exmouth Fun Park, Crealy Great Adventure Park and Cricket St Thomas. The house is in a lovely location for dog walks in the Byes but needs a thorough clean and redecoration. The boiler needs replacing as it broke down during our stay; the garden requires a complete makeover and is not dog friendly.

The property was in a superb location but unfortunately it could do with a complete update ......paintwork ...clear out in the garden which could be beautiful and could have been a lot cleaner.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; I have had the property for eighteen years now. Any returning guests will see that little improvements are made each year. For example the property has had a new kitchen and bathroom fitted. New roof was required 2 years ago. All the upstairs ceilings and the kitchen ceiling have been replaced. Double glazing has been fitted throughout. New boiler was required. New patio fitted to the front of the building. I paid for a fifth share of the cost of redoing the tarmac outside the front even though I do not own it. A new chimney stack was required about 5 years ago as it was in danger of falling down. In short the property is a bit of a money pit but I love it. The property was redecorated just over 2 years ago but will have wear and tear from guests staying. The photos on the website accurately reflect the current state of the décor. Beds are a subjective matter and so it is difficult to please all guests but this is something I will monitor.

Cozy Comfortable, very convenient for Sidmouth just 15 minutes walk into town. Would book again. There is parking not only out the front but on the road close by we had not problems with that.
