Elf Cottage is situated in a quiet location within 1 mile of the excellent sandy beach at Heacham and only 2½ miles from Hunstanton. This lovely cottage boasts an inviting living room with a multi-fuel burner, an open plan kitchen/dining room and a modern bathroom. The back door leads out to the fully enclosed rear garden with a garden table and chairs and a lockable shed for bikes and fishing equipment. Stairs lead to the first floor with three wonderful bedrooms; master with a kingsize bed, single and bunk bedrooms.
Just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage, Heacham village centre has everything from a supermarket, bakery, takeaway food, restaurants, bike hire and pub. You ‘ll also find a duck pond and a children’s play area just minutes from the cottage. Still within Heacham but a little further out, Norfolk Lavender has a fabulous farm shop, tea room, gift shop and Farmer Fred’s play barn, a great indoor facility. Neighbouring Hunstanton has all the fun of the fair, with an excellent beach, traditional seaside amusements and a Sea Life Centre, as well as tea rooms restaurants and seaside shops. Just next door to Hunstanton is the wonderful Old Hunstanton with a beautiful, expansive sandy beach. There is also a Michelin star dining restaurant here. Well worth a visit are Sandringham, Snettisham Park Farm and Castle Acre. King’s Lynn is also worth visiting with its historic old quarter, museums and guided walks. There are other traditional seaside resorts further along the coast such as Wells Next the Sea, Sheringham and Cromer. National Trust properties and stately homes such as Holkham Hall, the Royal Sandringham Estate, coastal path for excellent walks and cycle routes, golf courses, bird watching and wildlife viewing opportunities surround you.
