Lovely private, quiet and very well equipped cottage in an idyllic location of farm lanes and glimpses of coastline. Lovely log burning fire, lounge and easy modern kitchen with everything you could possibly need for a stay with a family. Welcome basket with fresh crusty loaf and local free range eggs was a nice touch too. Pete and Clare could not be more helpful and have decorated and furnished the cottage beautifully. We will be going again!

Our stay at the Old Shippen was perfect. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and the welcome pack was most appreciated. The accommodation is immaculately presented and very clean. The location is just what we wanted, quiet and peaceful but close enough to local amenities.

We spent a lovely week in this really cosy cottage. It was very well equipped with good quality furnishings. It was also spotlessly clean. We have stayed in a lot of cottages over the years and this was definitely one of the best. Was very remote but so peaceful and quiet. The fresh eggs from the owners chickens and the wonderful cream tea were icing on the cake. Thank you so much would recommend to anyone.

The owners had provided everything in this wonderful little cottage. We had a fantastic holiday and would love to stay again. I marked a 9 for local amenities as we had to drive some miles to reach any shops, but we were well aware that the cottage was not located close to a town when we booked.

As a family of 4 we had a fabulous week at the Old Shippen. The owners were so helpful and friendly. The cottage was spotless and the owners had thought of everything and more to make our stay just great! It's a lovely rural cottage, close to many beautiful places to visit. We would highly recommend this cottage. Very easily booked through www.cottage.com too.
