Fantastic 6days at Granny, lost a day due to storm Callum as we were on Lundy but the owners were so welcoming. We loved the welcome pack with the free range eggs. Had a lovely weather to explore Hartland and surrounding areas. Clovelly village is must to visit. Definitely worth trip back to a lovely cottage.

This was our 3rd visit to this beautiful cottage. It is set in a very quiet rural location and is immaculately clean, and extremely well equipped. Lots of thoughtful touches by the owners, including a bottle of Prosecco in the wine fridge, and farm eggs, bread, milk, butter and marmalade for your breakfast. Lovely sunny courtyard for eating outside if the weather is good. Very friendly and helpful owners.

It was wonderful if you want a quiet, off the beaten track holiday. You should be a walker if you want to get the most from the cottage’s location. We had a really good time.

Great place to stay, although there are no what you would call local amenities thats no drawback considering the well equipped cottage and lovely surroundings. Go there and enjoy yourselves we are definitely making a return visit.

Stayed 2 weeks at this property. The hosts were great, really looked after us and were very friendly. The cottage was really comfortable and a great location to explore north Devon as well as get away from it all, a very relaxing holiday.

A lovely secluded little barn conversion ideal for couples. Every little detail was thought of, the bed was so comfortable and lots of unexpected extras were provided, including hair dryer, bath robes, not to mention the beautiful eggs for breakfast and the bottle of bubbly left in the wine fridge. THe hosts were there if you needed them but not intrusive. THe little garden is lovely, private, and if the weather had been nice no doubt a sun trap, unfortunately this did mean that due to the seclusion there wasn't any views. Everything was comfortable, and the lounge had the same colour scheme as I have so felt like home ! The water pressure in the shower was amazing too. We also had a text from the owners on the way home wishing us a safe journey and thank you for leaving the cottage so clean, a very nice touch. WE visit Devon and Cornwall every year, and whilst in the country this was only less than 5 minutes off the main Atlantic Highway, but the roads were a rabbit warren... after a week we still needed the sat nav !!
