We have stayed here twice now and found the property warm and comfortable and close to all amenities. The owners, Mr and Mrs Clarke are very friendly and helpful. Also, our two pets are made welcome, which is a huge bonus.

We would definitely stay at Edie's Retreat again. It was warm, clean and comfortable and location-wise, it suited us perfectly. Gerry and Elaine were very friendly and helpful. Like us, they are animal lovers and our two pets were made very welcome, which was a big bonus for us.

Ideal location for exploring Dorset and The New Forest on your doorstep. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Our small dog was also made to feel welcome by our hosts Gerry and Elaine, who were both helpful with directions and information locally. A short drive by quiet B roads avoided traffic driving into Bournemouth which really made a pleasant difference. Excellent pub nearby which did good food and real ales was also great. Wimborne is a lovely place with a Waitrose supermarket, interesting bars and coffee shops, and plenty to do. The A31 is handy for getting out to West Dorset quickly, we were at Lulworth and Durdle door in around 45 mins. An enjoyable holiday and we hope to return again .
