Situated on a friendly holiday park, this wheelchair friendly property with a multi-fuel burner and enclosed garden lies close to York.

Ramp to entrance. All on ground floor: Living/dining room with French doors. Kitchen. 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower room, toilet and grab rails.

Multi-fuel burner in living room included. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot. Freeview TV. DVD. Gas cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Fridge/freezer. Wi-fi. Enclosed lawned garden with decked sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. Wheelchair access. NB: 4 steps in garden.

Quietly situated on a friendly holiday park, Eden Lodge provides very comfortable accommodation and an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful county of Yorkshire. With its cosy multi-fuel burner, spacious decked area and enclosed garden, this detached lodge is a perfect holiday base throughout the year. It is wheelchair friendly, with wide internal doors and an external ramp, and for families with a baby, there is a separate small bedroom and a cot provided. Wilberfoss, 1½ miles, has a village shop, pub and restaurant, and Pocklington, 4 miles, has an array of shops, inns and tea rooms.
There is easy access into the ancient city of York from Grimston Bar park and ride, 7 miles. In York, visit the world-renowned attractions including the minster, National Railway Museum, Clifford’s Tower, Jorvik Viking Centre and York Castle Museum. Alternatively, stroll along the cobbled streets and city walls, and enjoy a river boat cruise along the River Ouse. The Yorkshire Air Museum and Burnby Hall Gardens are close by, and days out can be enjoyed at Castle Howard and Beningbrough Hall.
Take a scenic drive through the Yorkshire Wolds, which inspired the paintings of the famous artist David Hockney, or ride aboard the North Yorkshire Moors steam train from Pickering to Whitby. Easily accessible are Fountains Abbey and the Yorkshire Dales to the west, and the coastal resorts of Whitby, Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough to the east. Horse racing is available at York, Wetherby, Ripon, Thirsk and Beverley. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

    Only thing that would have made our experience better would have been blackout curtains. This was due to external lighting and early morning daylight. Having said that it did not spoil our stay.

    Would highly recommend this lodge to all especially disabled people very comfy in a lovely location we all enjoyed our stay and will be using again

    Great lodge plenty of space a real home from home. Locations is good if you have a car though I believe there was a bus stop near the lodge. Would recommend for sure.

    A very comfortable and homely lodge. Extremely well equipped in the kitchen, and lots of extras to make you welcome. An ideal base for exploring york and the surrounding area. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

    Could do with a small shop on site for bread milk also you need a car to get about as buses were expensive
