A comfortable well equipped cottage in an excellent location for walks and visiting nearby towns. The local pub The New Inn is only 200 yards away and provides great food at a reasonable price with excellent friendly service. We would visit again.

A truly amazing accommodation that feels like home from home. We rarely ever go back to the same place to stay just sonwe can try new places but we have made our visit to East View cottage a yearly tradition. This was our forth visit and as always a perfect t stay. Special thanks to the owner of the cottage for always being so accommodating and helpful.

Excellent cottage and superbly equipped. Comfortable and very quiet. Owner very helpful and contactable although living away. Hope to return next year. The New Inn, only a couple of minutes away, very dog friendly and serves good food and beer!

The location is just perfect, quiet but within striking distance of a good pub and local amenities. Beautiful walk to Symonds Yat accessed from the cottage. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need. Very grateful for the fire despite the time of year.

We have been there three times in the last couple of years, that should sum up what we feel about the place. With any luck we'll go there again.

This is a lovely cottage in a quiet setting with a well equipped kitchen, cosy log burner and pleasant sunny garden. For our needs the stairs were very steep (not so good for a recent knee replacement) and the garden's perimeter fence in some disrepair (not good for holding an anxious dog). All this said however the cottage we enjoyed our stay and it was nice to be so close to forest walks.

We absolutely love East View and since we visited first 3 years ago we have been coming back every year! The log burner and the view out to the fields are the highlights of the cottage for us. You can spend hours just relaxing by the fire which is exactly what we look forward to when we visit. The cottage is pet friendly and very well enclosed so its ideal when we have our dogs with us. 100% recommend it and we look forward to our next visit! The owner is also amazing and veru helpful! Thank you so much
