Welcome to Duporth House, a wonderful house overlooking Duporth Bay, with magnificent sea views and private access to the exquisite beach below. The ideal base from which to explore this charming area of Cornwall with its fishing villages and harbour towns, picturesque coves, and stunning vistas. The house is set within a quiet location and much care, thought and attention has been afforded to provide a relaxing environment in which to enjoy every minute of your stay. There is ample parking for up to three cars and once inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen, including double oven, dishwasher, and excellent coffee machine. The dining room has lots of natural light and is a fabulous space to enjoy home cooked meals, from here you can extend your dining experience outside onto your patio for a little al fresco enjoyment. The living room is split into two areas, has super comfy, large sofas to sink into while you kick back and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV, plus a quiet area for reading the latest novel or perhaps playing a board game or two.
There is a spacious, stylish family bathroom and three sumptuous bedrooms. All have quality towels and bed linen, built in wardrobes and quite incredible sea views. The largest has a majestic kingsize bed, followed by a delightful room with glorious double bed and a cosy single room. Outside, your private garden wraps around the house and boasts gated access via steps to the quiet part of Duporth Beach, a very special feature, perfect for a beachside walk, with the waves gently lapping the shore. The access path and steps are steep, so may not be suitable for those with restricted mobility, however the area has many beaches with easier access.
Venture away from this gorgeous haven and the area will delight in every direction. Just 5 minutes’ walk away, discover Charlestown, a bustling fishing village and harbour full of interesting shops, cosmopolitan cafes, amazing restaurants, and bars. Enjoy an afternoon shopping in St Austell, from where there are superb train links. The world-famous Eden Project, with its huge biomes above the world’s largest indoor rainforest is a must visit, whilst the magic of over 200 acres of ancient gardens can be explored in the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The atmospheric Bodmin Moor is just 30 minutes away, with its ancient tors, mystifying stone structures and spectacular views. The list of days out is endless, at the end of each one, return to your rather special holiday home, where you can recharge, kick back and relax. Beach ¼ mile. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
