Dulcanter Fold has easy access on one level without any steps, has oil fired central heating, broadband internet access and briefly comprises:
Lounge/dining room: With electric flame-effect fire, Sky TV with sports and family pack, DVD, iPod dock, books, games and patio doors leading to the patio and covered seating area with magnificent views across to Lingmoor Fell.
Kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave.
Bedroom 1: Spacious room with a king size bed, dressing table, double wardrobe, fine fell views, TV and en-suite with spa bath, shower cubicle and WC. 

All electric, oil, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available. Shared washer/dryer.

Enclosed patio with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 1 car.

Set in the very heart of the beautiful Langdale Valley at Chapel Stile, Dulcanter Heights and Dulcanter Fold enjoy a unique location within this picturesque village and offer mesmerising views of the surrounding fell range and across to Lingmoor Fell and the Langdale Pikes. The location offers some of the finest low and high level walking within the Lake District National Park, right from the doorstep and the views from both properties will prove most tempting to even the most novice of walkers and their pets. The village caters well for those taking a self catering break, the general store offering an excellent selection of every day provisions and the popular Wainwright’s Inn serving local ales and homemade food throughout the day and into the evening.
This ancient former bank barn has been cleverly re-designed in recent times to offer two quality units with the option of being utilised together if required. Dulcanter Fold is on the ground floor and is most suitable for those with mobility difficulties as it has no steps. The property has been thoughtfully prepared to ensure comfortable and up to the minute facilities for self catering guests whatever time of year you choose to visit the Lakes so come and sample traditional Lakeland at its best, here at Dulcanter Fold.

    The cottage itself is excellent. A large bedroom and ensuite bathroom (with an enormous bath tub which is perfect after long days on the fells!). Kitchen with all the amenities you need and a lovely lounge with dining table and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the fells. The location itself is fantastic. Short walks on your door include Brown How and to Grasmere. You have a fanstastic pub a 90 second walk away on the local co-op sells everything you could think off. The one thing that is stated anywhere and is really worth knowing is that the cottage is actually the ground floor of a 2 storey building with the first floor also a rental property. You will be able to hear every footstep from above which if this is just normal soft walking is not an issue. However we had one evening where the group above were rather loud and it did prevent us getting to sleep until they had gone to bed (past 1am). Everyother evening we had no issues whatsoever but it is something anyone booking should take into consideration.

    We had a lovely relaxing time the flat was well presented,clean and tidy just a few little things which may have helped but nothing that caused any issues. Would be happy to recommend
