We really enjoyed our break at Duck Cottage, the location was lovely. and the cottage was warm and clean. I had difficulty at the top of the stairs as there was nothing to hold on to. I knew the steps would be steep, but a grab rail or other bannister would have made me feel secure. There was nowhere really to store food supplies out of sight, as dresser space was filled with ornaments and crockery. A grab rail in the bath area would be great, the bath itself and shower were really good, with plenty of space. From the website pictures I used when booking there was also a small single room, but that is no longer so, and the updated website shows the. The bed was really comfortable, but whenever either of us turned over the bed shook violently , so maybe something needs to be tightened up! Its a lovely cottage, and we hope to go back again , despite the above!!
