The popular programme of summer festivities culminates with the spectacular Tattoo, an event not to be missed.

Close by there are delightful beaches and numerous walks available, from scenic coastal walks to forest trails, not to mention sailing, swimming, horse riding, fishing, golf, boat trips and water sports. Warmed by the Gulf Stream there are many beautiful gardens to visit, including Threave Gardens (National Trust). My partner & I stayed for only two nights & honestly wish we stayed longer. Annabelle’s Den is absolutely beautiful. We could not fault a thing. The location was everything we could have asked for & more. Quiet, beautiful, peaceful. Will definitely recommend to anyone & will definitely look to be back in the future.

My husband and I went for a long needed break. I haven't been out much since the lockdown. This holiday helped me relax and start enjoying going out, even if it was just for an hour or two most days.
