Ulli & Tony made us feel very welcome and provided a lot of extras to make our holiday complete. We had a wonderful time in a warm, cosy & well appointed cottage. We would love to return at another date.

Had a wonderful seven days in the New Forest. Drovers way is a great location to be based, the accommodation is well presented, and the owners Tony & Ulli could not have been nicer, we have already decided that we will be returning next year.

We have just returned from yet another wonderful break at the chalet with Tony and Ulli. I can honestly say that they are our reason for returning time and again. Their hospitality is second to none, nothing is too much trouble and it’s just like staying with family 🙂. We enjoy our chats when we are sat out on the patio and Tony is beavering away getting all the jobs that come with owning such a wonderful property. A great location to just “switch off”, plenty of places to walk and cycling too. I’m not a great cyclist but the cycle to the pub every evening for my Diet Pepsi was a joy, I even enjoyed the obstacle course that the ponies and donkeys create! Looking forward to our next visit, thank you once again Tony and Ulli 😊

This was one of, if not the best week we have spent away. The accomodation and surroundings were fantastic! as was the weather, and our hosts Ulli and Tony are two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet, really friendly and helpful. Ulli makes the most wonderful flapjack and jam! all part of a lovely welcoming gift. Coming from a town, it was just fabulous waking up to the country views all around us, we even had a family of pretty deer in the paddock one night, and again early one morning walking along the track, as well as numerous species of birds feeding off the hanging feed baskets, some, like the Nuthatch ive never seen before, they are the ones that feed upside down (thanks for that information Tony). Being members of the National Trust we visited somewhere different every day, so many historical castles and houses, and Christchurch beach is gorgeous! and we recommend eating in the Royal Oak Pub, fantastic meals and friendly staff. You also get a really nice Brunch (breakfast) at Hockeys farm, within walking distance. As usual the week went so fast, Soooo relaxing! cannot wait to visit again. Amanda & Paul. X

Very nice property with welcoming hosts. Only downside for us was the remoteness of the property (this will obviously be a bonus for others). Was warned beforehand that dogs had to be kept on a lead at all times due to livestock, however even a small garden area where the dog could roam without tether would have been an advantage. All in all a very nice break in a very nice part of the world.

Superb week, extremely friendly hosts, very welcoming and helpful, truly excellent location where you did not have to go looking for the wildlife, the wildlife came to you . The whole holiday was perfect for our needs, great walks on our doorstep, situated on the peaceful side of the forest compared with the busier Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst locations. Loved every minute of our stay and was, on reflection, excellent value for money.

Drovers way offers fantastic views of the new forest. It is a charming, well equiped cottage and the hosts have the perfect balance of being available if you need advice and letting you get on with your holiday in peace and quiet. I was worried that being an annex it would feel like we were intuding, but nothing could be further from the reality. We enjoyed a glorious 3 days in May and have already booked 7 days in July. I can't wait to go back to what I know feel like is my country home.
