Situated in the heart of the exquisite village of Mousehole (with its harbour, sandy beach, art galleries and cafes), this former net loft stands as one of a row in a secluded position. Built in 1851, the holiday home has been sympathetically refurbished and retains many character features. Set yards from the sea, visitors can explore the winding streets and coastal paths, and in winter enjoy the Mousehole Christmas illuminations. Alternatively, Penzance and the Minack Theatre – an open air theatre hewn into the cliff - or Sennen (famous for surfing and its wide sandy beach) make for enjoyable days out. Shop 50 yards.

Great value for money cottage that is in a good location. Shame that it doesn't have a view but close to the harbour. Kids loved the Netfix which was a nice extra.

The cottage is great. Mousehole is a picturesque quiet village. My only complaint would be that for 5 people it's cramped. However, it was less expensive than other cottages. It was well equipped, very clean, has new bed linens, & towels etc.

Good sized lounge and kitchen areas but a very tight 2nd bedroom with the bed side-ways against the wall. Kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils. Great walks in the area. Cute little harbour but parking a nightmare - even before the school hols started. We parked in the approach car park to the village. It's £9/day but it's very easy to get in and out. If you use the carpark on the harbour walls, it is cheaper at £3/day but you need to run the gauntlet of driving through the very narrow streets (same as Mevagissey, Port Isaac...) . Lovely property and would happily recommend and use it again.
