Welcome Cottages

A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

Family favourite and couples haven, the perfect choice for families or couples looking for a comfortable, quality base and well positioned for exploring the whole of Cornwall.

This delightful property sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the stunning sailing waters, creeks, golf course and cycle trails, and is ideal for guests looking for a relaxing holiday. Bird watchers and wildlife haven with glorious walks and some great local pubs close by. This detached, single-storey property lies in the beautiful, peaceful location of Feock, and is conveniently situated between Truro and the busy maritime town of Falmouth. It is set in a quiet residential area, close to exquisite waters and creeks in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Loe Beach is a great local beach with a water sports centre that hires kayaks, paddleboards, boats and sailing dinghies, and provides lessons for all the family; there is also an excellent café serving great local food. The ’drive on, drive off’ King Harry Ferry offers easy access to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, which includes St Mawes. Trelissick, the National Trust gardens, are just a few miles down the road with endless woodland and creekside walks. The prestigious marinas and harbours of Falmouth attract many visitors, along with the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. The town has a busy calendar of events throughout the year including a sea shanty week, Falmouth Week in August, as well as music and food festivals, an oyster festival in October, and Christmas markets and festivities.
Some of Cornwall’s best beaches, coastal walks and cycle trails are easily accessible, including one linking Devoran on the south coast to Portreath on the north coast and which runs along the old tramway through woodlands and picturesque countryside (bike hire is available locally).
Nearby is the cathedral city of Truro which offers a wealth of shops, restaurants, a theatre with year-round programme, a cinema, bowling and riverside walks.

The area is popular all year round with holidaymakers enjoying traditional beach holidays during the high summer months, and storm watchers and those looking for relaxing, quiet, windswept walks along the beach and coast during the winter period. There is an abundance of festivals including Christmas festivals and markets as well as a parade of lights. Numerous sub-tropical gardens to explore include Trebah, Glendurgan and the Eden Project. Beach ½ mile. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub 1½ miles.
