The cottage is situated in a lovely rural spot. It has four good sized bedrooms which was great for our family party of 5 The upstairs bathroom could benefit from a shower but understand that water pressure may be a problem there and the towels were a bit hard and one was stained. The cleanliness was ok but the oven wasn't clean and some of the oven trays had seen better times. Could I suggest another frying pan would be useful, the existing one is large, but the handle is a bit dodgy. Also the washing machine could do with a maintenance wash. We have stayed in lots of cottages over Britain and this was a nice one but we have had more personal touches like milk tea coffee and more luxury for less money in other places. Small touches would add to value for money.

Dove Barn is set in the countryside and offers peace and tranquility. It is ideally located near to many beaches and attractions. Holkam beach is definitely the place to go if you don’t mind a bit of a walk to get to the sea. The cottage is clean and spacious and as described in the booking details. Diana the owner is lovely and if you had any worries I’m sure she would do her best to sort them out! There were 4 adults, 3 teenage boys and 3 dogs in our party and it’s the best holiday we’ve had for a very long time ( the heat wave did contribute ☀️) My only note of warning would be the pond in the garden, as perhaps this could be fenced off with chicken wire to prevent fogs from going in for a smelly swim on a daily basis 🐾 Enjoy whoever goes there next, I’m sure we will be back at some point!

Lots of space for family groups and in a great location. Suited a large family group of all ages. Bit lacking in equipment which could do with updating. Basic equipment meant cooking for vegetarians and non vegetarians was harder than it needed to be. Fridge struggled with a weeks worth of food. Great access for beautiful Norfolk beaches and villages.

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the open plan downstairs.Plenty of room for 6 adults,1 child plus 1 dog. Weather not good, but didn't stop us going out and about. Visited Wells, Cromer plus Burnham over Staithe. Would recommend Red Lion at Stiffkey. Superb lunch.
