A lovely holiday in a fantastic cottage. The location is perfect for exploring the many nearby locations.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Bridport is a great town with plenty of places to go for an evening out. The only downside was the entrance to the cottage via an alley. The green grocers left their rubbish piled up outside which became rather smelly in the heat.

A pleasant cottage for two, well situated in the heart of Bridport. Some strange furniture choices, no wi-fi and poor shower facilities but generally fine. Ideal for a short break.

we loved the cottage and the location all we had problems with was the parking or rather the lack of it I believe the last time we rented the cottage a parking permit was arranged for us.

Delightful small cottage tucked away in the centre of a lively little town. Good bus connections e.g. to Abbotsbury, Lyme Regis. I used it as the base for walking holiday along the coast path and it is ideally situated, easy walking distance along the river to West Bay. Short stay car park just around the corner, free after 6pm and on Sundays and you can pay ahead in the evening for a few hours into the next morning. If you're taking the car out every day this is fine. I found the cottage warm and hardly used the heating - just as well as I don't understand storage heaters and don't quite see the point - why do you need heaters at night time when you're in bed that go cold during the day? But electric fan heaters were also provided, though I didn't need to use them. I had a happy week here and would be happy to stay again.

This was our second visit to the cottage. Everything needed was provided for, and of good quality . Perfect quiet holiday for two , especialy with your own transport . The buses were less often in late September, but it was manageable still to get around.
