Sea views, beaches 100 yards

Celebrate in style by the beach; this is a perfect holiday venue for larger families and groups, and is great for reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and New Year, and fun packed summer holidays. Standing on the cliff-top in the seaside town of Mundesley, with the sandy beach just 100 yards away. Commanding views of the sea from the forward-facing upstairs rooms, this is a very spacious, detached, family home with its own large, wrap-around, lawned gardens, enclosed at the rear making it ideal for smaller children and pets. It boasts a large dining room, perfect for that dinner celebration, a choice of two living rooms and a conservatory equipped with a football table and pool table for friendly fun and games.
A short walk away is the centre of Mundesley, a charming Victorian seaside village with shops, butchers, post office, cafés/restaurants, pubs, golf course and the wide sandy beach. Further along the coastline are the traditional seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham, both with excellent sandy beaches, town centres and cliff-top golf courses. Cromer has a pier with a theatre hosting regular concerts and visiting performers, an RNLI lifeboat station and museum, and hosts Carnival week (normally held during the third week of August) and fireworks over the water on New Year’s Day (weather permitting). Sheringham is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash aqua pool, National Trust Sheringham Gardens, is host to the 1940’s weekend celebrations held during September, and has regular market days.
A 30-minute drive away is the famous Norfolk Broads, best explored by water with daily boat hire and river trips available, and there are plenty of riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. Enjoy a day exploring the city of Norwich for excellent shopping, two indoor malls, a market square, cinema complexes, theatre, castle museum, cathedral, bowling and plenty of cafés, pubs and restaurants. This lovely area provides so much to see, with excellent coastal walks direct from door, circular paths and trails, great cycling opportunities to explore this beautiful coastline, many pretty villages with award-winning eateries, RSPB bird reserves and sanctuaries, seal-watching trips and steam train rides. Children will be delighted with BeWILDerwood, a treetop fun park, and Lenwade Dinosaur Park, with a dinosaur trail, adventure play, indoor play and splash zone play area. Beach 100 yards. Shop 400 yards and pub 200 yards.

    This house has an amazing potential, very spacious inside, there were 4 families staying and there was plenty of space in living areas, dining areas and bedrooms and outdoor area.The location is fantastic, 3 min walking to the beach and less than 10 min to the lovely Ship Inn and centre of Mundesley. The house is comfortable enough, however is very dated and needs a complete revamping in terms of decoration, furniture, and maybe an introduction of a shower in the big bathroom and a radiator in the shower room downstairs. The couple who has just bought this house has great plans for this and I would very much look forward to coming back once this has been done. We had a lovely weekend away and were very well looked after by the owners. Communication with them was excellent!
