Excellent but mind window lintel in top bedroom and stone spiral steps at head height, we placed a chair below to stop heads hitting them.

We have had many self catering holidays in excellent properties and this is near the top of our list. The quiet , peaceful setting is wonderful and the visits we made were never more than 20 miles over some interesting roads!!! Our initial worry about the spiral staircase ( we are all pensioners) was soon overcome and the kitchen flowing into the dining room meant all six of us could take part in preparation. You need to buy provisions when out as there are no local shops. .....and a fabulous garden.

Bigger beds would be great though appreciate this is difficult. Most things we needed were there but something to light the fire would be good. I think we bought one which may have then been left there for the next people. But overall we had a wonderful stay.
