Also, Settle is close by, where you can take a trip on the Settle to Carlisle Railway. Been coming to Dipper for several years now and always enjoyed it. That said, it has already been said in the visitors book but it could do with a really good deep clean (flies in the extractor hood, tired furniture, bed frame wobbly). The shower was broken on arrival but that is just a minor discomfort, already looking at booking again

The site is excellent, a converted mill near Malham. There is a short flat path into the village where there are two good pubs, and good walking from the Mill. The accommodation is a sitting space/kitchen, a well appointed bathroom with a bath and shower, and a double bedroom. The access to the flat is two steep flights of stairs, not mentioned in the details. First impressions count, and here it is uncared for. There was no welcome pack with information about the area, or details about how to use the fire or central heating. There was a hatch potch of cutlery, instruments, and glasses, and no beer glasses. There were no bags for rubbish, even though we were asked to take it away. The bathroom was clean, but there were two empty shower gel and shampoo bottles. You shouldn't have to throw away your predecessors rubbish. The bed frame wobbled, and the floor was dirty, with lumps of fluff under the bed and stuck to the chest, and the bottom of one of the curtains was held up with pins. The visitors book contained many similar comments, which seemed to start about 18 months ago.
