Fantastic location! Owners (next door) very helpful for places to visit. Can’t fault this at all!

Terrific stay in a very nice part of France (with easy access from Calais and into Belgium). Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with very good recommendations as to what to see and do. Totally self contained plot adjacent to the owners, with its own gated entrance, parking and huge garden for the dog to explore including stream and pond. Direct access to the old railway line behind the cottage provides ideal dog walking and cycling (large selection of bikes are included at the cottage). 1/2 hr walk to Sars Poteries, with Carrefour, Aldi, Vets (for mandatory vet check!) and excellent restaurant (Note only open in evenings on Saturday. Lunchtimes Tues-Sat). Visit very modern Museum in Sars Poteries to understand local glass foundry tradition - very interesting and explains the amazing finials on many buildings!
