Visit imposing Plas Newydd (NT) home of the Marquess of Anglesey, and on the mainland, the Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

    Third time we have stayed here. Great cottage and great location. My only small niggle is there where lots of cobwebs in the ensuite and main bedroom which could have easily been cleaned - we ended up doing it. Wouldn’t stop me going back and would highly recommend.

    the bungalow was lovely but the garden was very overgrown it had thorn branches sticking out into the garden so couldn't sit on one side of the table,the grass was also overgrown ,every other place weve stayed in Anglesey have always left a welcome pack even if it was just a pint of milk it would have been nice,the grill didn't work and my disabled mother struggled to get through the front door as there is no step,the beds were very comfy and the accommodation was spacious and a convienient base for touring anglesey

    Response on behalf of the owner; We’re very sorry there were issues with the bungalow during your stay. With regard to the condition of the garden. Unfortunately we have been let down by our gardeners and as a result we are now employing new gardeners so hopefully this should not be an issue in the future. The front step is only a couple of bricks high and was like that when we bought the property we did not have any problem with it but we can now understand that someone with a disability might struggle a little. We are going to ask a builder to take a look to determine if improvements can be made but we don’t want a step to restrict access to parking on the driveway. The grill is working currently so I’m sorry if this caused you any inconvenience. When we speak to holidaymakers prior to your holiday we always ask that if there are any issues or problems with the property to contact us directly and we aim to resolve them as quickly as possible. We’re sorry you did not feel able to contact us particularly with regards to the garden and the grill.
