This is a working farm in a very remote area of Eastern Cumbria, if you approach the holiday appreciating these points you will have a good holiday. Excellent location for Hadrian's Wall and we also went as far as Carlisle and Dumfries. The sheep usually look at you cooking breakfast through the window.

Major issue with how the owner acted towards us when the power supply failed 1 day into the holiday which resulted in us feeling the need to leave. Also feel potential guests should be aware that there are no llamas or alpacas and the shared enclosed garden had several mounds of dog poo in it.
