Deer Lodge is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just outside the village of North Cerney, which has a charming country pub. This characterful, detached holiday cottage is situated just off the Fosse Way and overlooks beautiful gardens. It is a large, self-contained, fully equipped, one bedroom ‘upside down’ house, set away from the owner’s main Arts and Crafts home. A perfect place to stay when in the Cotswolds, being just a 10-minute drive from Roman Cirencester and 20 minutes’ drive from Cheltenham and its famous horse racing festival.
The house is situated in the beautiful Churn Valley, so there are plenty of walks for active guests, and this is a very central position from which to visit the many beautiful towns and villages of the Cotswolds, including Bourton-on-the-Water, Bibury, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Campden. Both Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are also a convenient drive. Golf nearby. Shop and restaurants 5 miles, pub 1 mile.
