The Grade II* listed stable conversion (PFFH) is part of the only longhouse in Wiltshire and dating back to the 13th century, is the oldest house in the village. Beautifully refurbished to offer all modern conveniences, yet retains charm and character. Sympathetically converted, the detached, single-storey barn (PHHF) offers light and airy, contemporary accommodation. Colerne has a good selection of shops and pubs but only a short bus journey, 7 miles, will take you into Bath and Chippenham. Within easy reach of Bristol, Bradford-on-Avon and the much-filmed villages of Lacock and Castle Combe. Great area for walking. Shop 200 yards, family pub and restaurant 10 yards.

    Lovely cottage in a lovely village. Melanie was very welcoming and helpful. Car is needed to get around as there isn’t a lot around. There is a corner shop and 2 pubs that are in walking distance. On arrival we were greeted by Melanie who was helpful and friendly. There was fresh bread, milk, eggs and jams which was handy as we hadn’t gone shopping beforehand as we thought we would see what was around. There is a nice big enclosed garden that our dogs loved running around in. Overall a very relaxing great holiday break

    We really enjoyed our stay at Daubeneys Stable. The whole cottage is so beautifully presented and the travel cot was made up with such care and love. It was such a perfect place to have our first family holiday. The owners were the perfect hosts, providing lots of information about places to visit. There was a delicious loaf of bread, butter, jams, eggs and orange juice for us to make our breakfast and we were encouraged to make use of the beautiful gardens and enjoy the stunning weather. Just perfect!

    Lovely cottage, with excellent facilities, in a very quaint village. Plenty of dog walking available, and excellent for Bath and surrounding area.

    Very nice stay in the cottage. Location is great and the cottage is everything we expected it to be! Very clean. Only qwarm was the noise. The pub opposite unfortunately had a rock night on the saturday night on until about 22:30 then neighbouring cottage were very loud until about 00:00. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Many thanks

    We had a lovely weekend with family and the cottage was the perfect place to stay. Spacious and comfortable with everything you could need. I

    We had a fantastic short stay. Local pubs were good and the people are lovely. The town is just beautiful. We will return for a longer stay next time. I would definitely recommend.

    A really great place for a relaxing break, Melanie the owner was terrific, upon arrival we were welcomed with a gift of bread, milk, orange juice and eggs a truly lovely gesture. The stables are fully equipped and comfortable, in fact the bed was so comfortable it was difficult to leave it. A great base from which to explore the area. Two nice pubs within easy walking distance. Brilliant!!!.
