A pleasant and peaceful location with nice views. The WiFi was reliable which was very important for us as we were in the area for a Geocaching holiday. The bungalow was well prepared for our arrival, clean and warm. We enjoyed the welcome gift. The double bed was very comfortable although the option of a top sheet and blanket or lighter weight duvet would have been appreciated since we found it too hot most nights. We could not find the key to unlock the small window in the double bedroom which would have allowed some cool air into the room. The kitchen functioned well but there are some chipped plates and the cutlery drawer needs sorting as it's a bit of a jumble of items. A small sharp peeling knife was not found although it may be there as it was 5 days before we discovered the bread knife !! The dining area, which we did not use, was well equipped with correct cutlery and china. The garden was well cared for and there was a summer house with outdoor furniture if required. We were pleased that recycling was expected and all the necessary containers were present. We thought that it would be excellent value for 4-6 people but a discount for just 2 people would have been appreciated. However, Dart Corner was a perfect base for our activities and we would certainly recommend it.

This is our second year in a row visiting Dart Corner. We visit in February and have been lucky to have good weather both years. We love sitting at either the kitchen or dining table and enjoying the rural view. We find the cottage easily big enough for myself, my mum, our two dogs and local family to visit. The facilities are good and always well kept and clean. The dogs are well provided for and thought of but we could have done with a hosepipe attached to the outdoor tap to help wash the dogs when they get grubby in the many nearby dog-walking attractions. We do manage the open garden by putting a barrier of garden chairs on either side, this stops our pampered pooches but a more determined dog would be off; I would be lying if we hadn't hoped that there would be a gate this year! There is a hoover supplied but it is a little wimpy when trying to pick up the dog hair and there was no mop for the kitchen floor had we needed to clean up poorprints. There was quite a few flies in the back porch but this could have been due to the surprising unseasonally warm weather.

Bit pricey for the cottage itself.

A very clean and comfortable bungalow. The view from the garden is fantastic which was enjoyed daily over breakfast in the garden. The garden is not fully enclosed, our dog was keen to explore! Our only negative is that more crockery and cutlery is required and chipped items need replacing but this certainly wouldn't stop us returning.
