Description

Situated in a quiet residential area is Dart Corner, a spacious bungalow ideal for a family holiday, or for couples to get away.

Dart Corner has been decorated and furnished to a good standard, with a spacious garden area ideal for alfresco dining, with views across the countryside. Situated in a quiet residential area, this detached bungalow is in a perfect location for exploring Devon. House of Marbles is situated close by, where you can visit the shop or enjoy a spot of lunch. Take a trip into Bovey Tracey with an array of independent shops, cafés and restaurants. Lustleigh is a few miles drive and is a quaint village with lots of thatched cottages, a tea room and a pub. Walkers can escape and explore the depths of Dartmoor, spot wild Dartmoor ponies, or cross ancient stone bridges spanning the clear bubbly waters of the River Dart and other rivers. You can also feel the somewhat eerie presence of the tors, seven rocky hills presiding majestically over the moors. Visit National Trust Castle Drogo and Lydford Gorge, quaint towns and Buckfast Abbey. Take a trip to Torbay, known as the English Riviera due to its unique micro-climate; take the ferry across to Dartmouth and the neighbouring town of Brixham, set on and across the River Dart. At the mouth of the river are Kingswear and Dartmouth Castles with the rocky waters of the estuary lapping at their feet. Exeter and its stunning cathedral is just a 10-mile drive, and Exeter Racecourse and Haldon are not far away. A nature trail and cycle route can be found in the Forestry Commission, 7 miles. Powderham Castle and many National Trust properties are close by. Beach 10 miles. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant ¼ mile.

A very clean and comfortable bungalow. The view from the garden is fantastic which was enjoyed daily over breakfast in the garden. The garden is not fully enclosed, our dog was keen to explore! Our only negative is that more crockery and cutlery is required and chipped items need replacing but this certainly wouldn't stop us returning.

Great holiday home, which was exceptionally equipped for self catering. Also wonderfully welcoming for holidaymakers with dogs. Our only suggestions to make it even better would be a more effective vacuum to clean up our dog hair during our stay and gates for the garden . But we would definitely book again.

Great property in a fantastic location. Lots of space inside and out and in a very peaceful cul de sac. Ideally situated to explore the coast or the moors.
