Lovely lodge in a beautifully rural location. It is a must stay at if your looking to escape and relax. Lots of picturesque walks right on the doorstep. Spacious and well equipped - the owners have literally thought of everything and provided all you need to spend a week there. Large enclosed garden which the children and dog loved.

We go to Dan Y Coed every year for a ladies relaxing retreat and we plan to continue doing so for some time to come. Very remote but perfect for what we want. Well equipped and clean. Lovely local walks and some great pubs just a short drive away. The perfect get away for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle.

We had a superb weekend stay at Dan Y Coed. It had everything that we needed. Hot tub was great and the extra towels provided a nice touch. Very well equipped kitchen. Location was fabulous. So peaceful and the stars at night spectacular. To have Offa’s Dyke path literally on your doorstep was a real bonus. Would recommend a nice 5 mike circular walk if you look it up on the Powys Ramblers website. That was the only thing I would say, very little literature in the lodge including the lack of maps but guess we just need to be a bit more prepared next time. Have already recommended to friends what a fab place this is. I can’t wait to rebook for another chilled weekend away. Thank you
