I had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Daisy's with Cara my very bouncy Hungarian Vizsla dog. Cathy could not have been more welcoming and Daisy's itself was just perfect - everything we could wish for. We arrived in the teeth of Storm Freya and despite continuing high winds and heavy showers we still managed to have a very restful holiday. I fully intend to book again in the future. My only wish might be to move this lovely location down the valley a bit to get out of the wind!!! but seriously we still had a great time. Thank you so much from a happy previously worn out person and an extremely happy dog - who just wants me to move Widemouth beach nearer to home!!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; So glad you enjoyed the rest you needed and Cara enjoyed herself. We would love to see you again anytime.

Excellent choice for a couple with a dog. We had a great time there last weekend, fantastic welcome from Kathy. Absolutely no issues at all. We made great use of the wood burner very cosy 2 nights in Cornwall and we look first to come back here next time in Cornwall. As a film buff the Bluray player and big choice of new releases was great bonus. Thank you

Arrived at Daisy's Cottage and was made to feel very welcome. Cathy and Matthew were lovely, nothing was to much trouble for them. Seeing the pigs, sheep and chicken make us feel like we were I the country. We have a nervous dog and they were really good with her letting her have her own space. Would highly recommend this cottage if you have a dog because there is a separate secure field for the dog. The fresh eggs were a bonus. The cottage was very comfortable, had everything we needed. The dvds were a nice touch. We will definitely come back.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Enya was very well behaved and well trained. You would all be welcome back any time.

The cottage was exactly what we wanted. There was enough room for the two of us and the dog. There was a welcome pack in the fridge, with fresh eggs and wine. The cottage was well appointed and clean. Cathy was very welcoming to us. We would recommend this cottage and hope to visit again.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; And we would love to see you again. We now don't let the sheep into the paddock next to the cottage as with 6 hadn't appreciated the mess they can make so the area is now fully enclosed and solely for doggie guests.

As soon as my boyfriend and I arrived we knew we had picked the perfect cottage. Cathy could not have been more welcoming on our arrival, and was filled with lots of local knowledge. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and Cathy even let us check in early when we arrived before 3pm! The cottage is in the perfect location to explore both the north and south coast, and the nearby Launceston is just a few minutes away to pick up all the bits and bobs you may need. We loved waking up every morning to the sight of sheep and chickens, and the log burner was the perfect touch for a cosy evening in front of a film with a bottle of wine. We couldn’t recommend Daisy’s enough, and we’ll definitely return if we’re ever in the area again!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank-you for your kind comments. The area is at its prettiest at the moment with all the wild flowers and the weather means that the outside facilities are getting more use so hope you get to use them at some point
