This cottage is all about location. The easy walk into Stratford and it's amenities is it's selling point. However the parking is not great and the cottage itself smaller than expected for the price paid.

A very nice cottage in a brilliant location near to the centre of Stratford. However It may not be suitable for someone with limited mobility due to the steep, narrow stairs.

Daffodil cottage is in a great location. It was clean and tidy when we arrived. Nice but small back yard. Nicely decorated. They are the positives! The living area is very dark, with very little natural light. It was hot and stuffy with no cross breeze. The main problem we had was the leak that came through the living room ceiling when my daughter bathed. We told the owner, even though they said a plumber would be sent one never came. So I was very disappointed with the way the problem was handled, or not handled. Because of this and the dark living room I won’t be returning.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; The property is an old mid terraced canal workers cottage so I would agree the living room does not get a lot of natural light, however the cottage was fully modernised last year and the light to this room is supplemented by modern LED lighting that give the feel of natural light, I would not agree the back yard is small it has a seating terrace a grass area and pagoda and shed at the bottom of the garden. The plumber attended on the Wednesday but wouldn’t enter without the tenant at home, he returned on the Saturday and corrected a small leak on the waste of the new bath

We had a lovely 5 days staying at Daffodil cottage which was beautifully presented. It was very local to all amenities, with Shakespeare’s house in view at the end of the road. Lots of places locally to visit. The neighbour was also friendly and helpful. We always managed to park right outside the cottage on returning after a day out.

We had such a lovely stay, we didn’t want to leave! Daffodil Cottage was spotless, so comfortable and really homely. The location couldn’t be better for exploring Stratford and the surrounding area and we had no problems parking - watch out for the parking wardens, we forgot to display the permit and within 30 minutes we had a ticket! We would highly recommend a holiday to Stratford and a stay at Daffodil Cottage.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, much closer to the centre of Stratford than we thought, but a very quiet little street - amazing location, gorgeous decor, felt so cosy and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to book Daffodil cottage again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Daffodil Cottage and we found the location to be totally brilliant for us - easy access to the town and yet in a quiet part of the area. We will definitely be back.
