Lovely cosy cottage, beautiful village, with lovely close by shops, had a delicious takeaway from The Spice Club and great base to explore the beautiful Lake District.

Great week away - like home from home. Very useful free parking at rear of the property - easy walk into town. Property is small but is great for a week away and has everything you need, very nice shower. Had not been to Cockermouth for about 15 years so was nice to return - sad the brewery has closed along with quite a few shops & pubs, but there are some nice places to eat/drink. Recommend The Castle Inn and The Bitter End - good beer and food and nice staff.
