Really enjoyed the week, good weather, lovely scenery, loved the views from the garden, plenty of places to visit in the area and good walks. Would recommend it.

An enchanting cottage in stunning surroundings. Well equipped and comfortable. 15-20 mins walk to Strontian Hotel situated in Strontian Village who serve evening meals and about the same distance the opposite way to the Ariundle Centre who also serve evening meals. Two shops, a cafe and petrol station situated in the village centre. Perhaps the only small criticism - although there are lots of leaflets describing the surrounding area, it does lack a good instruction manual i.e navigation of TV, heating settings, recycling information. However it is a relatively easy cottage to find your way around.

Fantastic location and cruachan is ok, but lagging behind the local opposition as it looks a bit dated inside. Saying that it isn't unpleasant just not as good as many in the area we have stopped in Not to dog friendly in the garden, if your dog is a escape artist the fence has a few holes in it. Would we stop again? yes would be the answer but I may look elsewhere first. But don't be to put off though the location with views is pretty spectacular. Cruachan Just needs a bit of tlc.

Large roomy and warm. Well set out. The driveway was easy to manage. I was filming for my "Views from the Passenger Seat". My memories for when I can no longer travel. 1200 miles of driving filmed. I visited all the side roads in the area. So much editing to do. I had a leaf tea and the strainer provide at the Ariundle Centre but did not go out for the Candle Lit Dinner. I twice used the centre café. And I used the community Post Office and store and petrol pumps. One needs to watch one's fuel level in the area. I can recommend the Cottage. Stunning view of The Strontian River Glen. A real Hideaway, very quiet, very peaceful and neighbours are some distance away.

Fantastic Base for exploring ardnamurchan, wonderful scenery. Had everything we needed. Loved the steep driveway, typically Scottish. Great to have somewhere nearby where you can learn to spin wool. Lovely food nearby is you don't want to cook. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place, nice rooms, beds very uncomfortable and soft furnishings a bit ropey. However lovely position and clean, great having sun room for dog to go in. Would have been nice to have a small woodburner for a focal point.
